In 2019, the average cost of solar in Florida was $2.63 per watt with an average solar system size of 6 kilowatts, bringing the cost to $15,780. With a federal tax credit of 26% in 2020, the actual cost in this scenario would be $11,677.20. Typically, solar companies use the industry average for pricing, which means some people end up paying less and some end up paying more than what their system actually costs. Solar Direct uses a unique model for pricing that is tailored to your specific system size and energy usage.
