"On March 24th, 2006 I had a Power Save 1200 installed on my circuit panel in my Baltimore Maryland home. My home is about 2200 Square feet and is a townhouse. "I must admit, I was a bit skeptical about your product, as an electrical engineer friend introduced me to Power-Save a few months ago...
While I was testing the unit, I had my friends present. I tested the product on the load side, and I found no difference in the amperage draw to my A/C unit on the circuit conductors directly from the breaker to it. At first, I was disgruntled. After settling down and thinking about what I had just done, I realized my error and clamped my Fluke meter on the mains directly behind the meter registering current draw at the line side of the load center....and BINGO!!!!

"Just a quick note to let you know how shocked I was to find that your Power Save 1200, is everything you said it was and more. I had the unit installed on a disconnect switch so I could check the actual power usage with and without the Power Save 1200 in service. "Meadowbrook Water Company purchased a Power-Save 3400 on 11/15/08. 3. Electrical Noise Filtration

"Nonlinear loads" ask for and use electrical current in "pulses" unlike traditional electrical equipment. What is Power Factor?
Power factor is the percentage of electricity that’s delivered to your house and used effectively, compared to what is wasted. For example, a 1.0 power factor means that all the electricity that’s being delivered to your home is being used effectively for its purpose. However, most homes in America today have a .77 power factor or less. This means that 77% of the electricity that is coming thru your meter at your home or business is being used effectively, the other 23% is being wasted by your inductive load. With a low power factor, the utility has to deliver more electricity to do the same work. However, the Power-Save unit increases that power factor in most cases to .97 or .98, thus increasing the effective use of your electricity and lowering your usage.
