Meet Pedro Santiago and his Family
Like most contemporary eco-conscious couples,
Pedro and his wife Janet definitively shatter the
stereotypical perception of the 60’s back-to-nature
hippie hobbyist that is still hanging around from
the early days of solar energy.
For them, committing to a green lifestyle was as
much about financial practicality as it was in relation
to caring for their environment.
Always a bit of a maverick, Pedro is retired from
the U.S. Navy, where he served as a highly skilled
combat helicopter mechanic.
These days, Pedro enjoys cruising on his retro
style motorcycle or detailing his custom show truck,
while both he and Janet take down-to-earth pleasure
in their family cookouts around the pool.
