El Niño Solar Pool Heater for Aboveground Pools - Installation

Easy to install
The system is flexible, lightweight and easy to handle and install. No special tools or skills required. It's delivered ready-to-use, making it easy for the average handy person to install.

The El Niño solar collectors can be installed on the ground next to the pool, on a simple tilted stand or vertically mounted on a wall.

Remember that the pumps lifting capacity will limit the maximum height of the installation.
El Niño will have the best efficiency if located:

. Protected from the wind
. Facing south
. Isolated from the ground

The collectors are placed side by side. See typical layout below. Additional collectors can be added to get more heat to the pool.

The system is equipped with a bypass connection that allows you to switch the collectors "on" and "off" to avoid over heating. The bypass can also be used to regulate the water flow in case an over-sized pump is used.

If you have a larger pool or want to warm up the pool faster after bad weather, add additional collectors to your system. The El Niño system offers two options to increase your solar collector area. Each El Niño Basic Kit (3,60 m²) can either be connected to the El Niño Extension Kit (1,80 m²) or to more El Niño basic Kits.
