Automatic Inground Pool Cleaner

The following steps will give you an idea of how simple it is to install a Zodiac Automatic Pool Cleaner. Do not use this as an alternative to reading your manual. Please read the entire Owner's Manual before installation.
STEP 1: Pool Preparation
- Clear the pool of any large debris that may become lodged in the cleaner
- Clean the pool filter and the pump strainer basket to ensure proper water flow
- Remove the vacuum plate and skimmer basket from the skimmer
- Close the main drain (if you have one)
- Aim the pool return jets downward to allow the cleaner to move randomly throughout the pool
STEP 2: Assembly
- Slide the disc over the footpad
- Snap on the wheel deflector (some models do not need a wheel deflector)
- Assemble the hose using enough to reach from the skimmer to the furthest point in the pool plus one extra hose section.
- Attach the hose weight to the proper position on the hose as indicated in your Owner's Manual. (In-ground models)
STEP 3: Installation
- Fill the hose with water by placing one end over a return jet.
- Submerge the pool cleaner head. When the bubbles stop, attach the cleaner head to the hose
- Connect the hose to the skimmer using the attachments provided
